St. Augustine BeachSt. Augustine Beach (MAP): Located just south of the St. Augustine city limits, this beach features miles of pristine white sand and clear blue waters. It's a popular spot for surfing, fishing and sunbathing, all near seaside restaurants, a beachfront park, fishing pier, and beachside pavilion.

Ponte Vedra Beach (MAP): Located in an upscale beach community Ponte Vedra's beaches stretch the coas tline near championship golf courses  plus cultural andrecreational opportunities. Public parking and beach access at Mickler’s Landing.  You'll also enjoy visiting the secluded South Ponte Vedra Beach (MAP) for beachcombing and shell collecting.

Mickler's Landing Beach (MAP): Within Ponte Vedra Beach, pink coquina-sand beaches appear at the end of the roadway that narrows as you approach Mickler’s Landing, which brims with nature.  This local favorite and is popular for beachcombing, shell collecting, surfing and fishing.

Vilano Beach (MAP): This quiet, laid-back beach is located just north of St. Augustine and is popular with families and surfers. The beach features a fishing pier into the Tolomato River and several beachfront restaurants. 

Crescent Beach (MAP): Located on Anastasia Island, this small, quiet beach is known for its soft, white sand and clear, turquoise waters. In its peaceful setting, swimming, fishing and boating and relaxing are popular here.

Anastasia State Park (MAP) and Beach (MAP): Anastasia State Park and is located on Anastasia Island. In addition to a variety of recreation such as fishing, kayaking, hiking and camping, the park features four miles of pristine white sand and clear blue waters.

Butler Beach (MAP):  Located south of St. Augustine Beach, this beach runs along the coastal side of a 

lively beach town where dining, cafes and nightlife are prominent. Butler Beach is great for swimming, surfing, and sunbathing.

Riverfront Parks & Beaches

The parks, marinas, piers, and beaches of St. Johns County are terrific places to explore the natural beauty of Northeast Florida. Here are a few:

Alpine Groves Park (MAP): Located on the St. Johns River in northwest St. Johns County, Alpine Groves Park offers a scenic riverfront beach area that's perfect for picnicking, fishing, hiking trails, a playground and butterfly gardens.

Trout Creek Memorial ParkTrout Creek Memorial Park (MAP):  Located on Trout Creek — a tributary of the St. Johns River in northwest St. Johns County — this park features a small river beach, a marina and boat ramp, picnic areas and special events like classic muscle car shows.

Riverfront Park at Rivertown (MAP): Located at the desirable Rivertown Community, Riverfront Park is known for its scenic boat launch and fishing as well as picturesque boardwalks, kayaking and hiking trails along the St. Johns River.

Riverfront Park, Palatka (MAP): Not to be confused with the other Riverfront Park, this charming park near the river’s southern narrows was recently reimagined to blend the river’s natural beauty with historic sites, recreation, boating and scenic walking paths.
